What is cellulite reduction with Cellulaze?

There are many reasons why individuals in Marlborough, MA, can have issues with cellulite. Age, hormonal changes, genetics, and profound weight loss or gain can affect the appearance of a person’s legs and body. These factors cause connective tissues to stiffen, causing fat to accumulate and create creases. To help get rid of this effect, we treat our Northborough patients with a revolutionary technology called Cellulaze from Cynosure. It is the only treatment that targets the underlying structural problems that cause the look and feel of cellulite.

The way the treatment works is simple. Using minimally-invasive, laser-assisted technology, Dr. Cynthia Poulos can break down large collections of fat cells to leave skin looking smoother. Only a small incision is used to allow the laser to access the targeted fat cells.

The treatment is proven to tone connective tissues and destroy excess fat cells. It tightens and tones the surface of your skin. Anyone’s skin can look healthier and more appealing.

What are the benefits of Cellulaze?

  • Helps stimulate collagen production
  • Smoother, tighter, younger-looking skin
  • Improved body contours
  • Increased self-confidence
  • Minimally invasive
  • Little downtime
  • Sustainable results

Who is a good candidate for Worcester cellulite reduction?

Cellulaze is most effective for patients suffering from cellulite in the thighs who are at a healthy, stable weight, and who maintain an active lifestyle and responsible diet. Clients should be of sound mind and body, and realistic in what they hope to achieve with Cellulaze, based on their confidential consultation with Dr. Poulos in Worcester.

What will recovery entail?

Since Cellulaze treatment requires only local anesthesia, the recovery is quick and without incident. You’ll be able to return home right away. Bruising and soreness will heal quickly. You may be advised to wear a compression garment for a few weeks to help reduce swelling and maximize circulation.
