Your surgical options

Many of our patients elect simultaneous breast and body procedures for this very reason. This way, by bundling their surgeries, they have only one recovery period. It is also an opportunity to save on hospital or anesthesia fees, as the patient is using the same anesthesiologist, in the same room, at the same time, for the second procedure.

Bundling a breast surgery with a body contouring surgery is commonly referred to as a “Mommy Makeover,” as new mothers find their breasts and body simply cannot return to their appearance before having children, despite a healthy diet and exercise habit.

Following major weight loss, body contouring surgery improves the shape and tone of your underlying tissue and removes excess, sagging skin. In this case, oftentimes a breast lift or reduction is bundled with a body surgery.

Other patients are content with their breast size and simply looking to spot-reduce fat deposits or reshape their arms, back, abdomen, waist, hips, thighs, or buttocks or elsewhere. Whatever your goal, Dr. Poulos is honored to help you achieve your ideal feminine proportions through body contouring surgery.

If you’re considering this type of procedure, see more above about some of the procedures we perform.
