3 Tips For Beautiful Looking Skin

The pursuit of beautiful skin is a challenging one to say the least. It takes a lot of effort to make your skin shine, but perhaps less effort than you think. For most people, the biggest issue they have is they aren’t well informed on how you can take care of your skin. Perhaps we take our skin for granted? But like anything else, our skin requires a little maintenance to keep looking great!

Here are 3 tips to help your skin look beautiful:

1. Remove your makeup! Yes, this is considered the golden rule of skin care! During the day makeup is great, but at night while you are sleeping it is your worst enemy. It clogs your pores and causes skin blemishes and blackheads. If you don’t have a makeup remover, then invest in some olive oil and a cotton swab. Gently massage the oil into your skin and BLAM! The makeup and dirt is cleared away.

2. Sunscreen is a must have. It is integral to your skins health that you use sunscreen that is at a minimum SPF 15 that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. So if you are getting ready to go to the beach or spend a day outdoors, pack that sunscreen! Don’t let the season fool you either. Even during the winter on a cloudy day, the suns UV rays still pose a threat to your skin.

3. Eat healthy! As the old saying goes “you are what you eat” and this reigns true in regards to your skin as well. Foods that are high in salt and citrus are not your skins best friend. It is recommended that you eat plenty of fruit and other vitamin C rich food that is low in fat.
