What type of exercises you can do after breast augmentation

One of the main concerns that you might have after getting breast augmentation is what kind of exercises you can do after. Contrary to popular belief, you cannot just jump on that health kick again after the procedure. You have to allow the pectoral muscles to heal and the implants to settle in correctly before doing any rigorous activities. However, you can still exercise a bit after the surgery to maintain your form. Here are a few ways you can do so:

The implants might not have an effect on your workout depending on where they are placed. However, do not try to do weight bearing shoulder movements or activities that force you to do so such as tennis and volleyball. Kettlebell exercises should also be resumed with caution.

Exercises that promote recovery can be done in moderation such as walking, cycling etc. The movements these encourage increase blood flow which is good for healing and cardiovascular health. Moving the joints in our arms slowly and completely without using weights can do the same thing and increase flexibility. Just make sure to stop if you feel the implants stretch.

Stop any exercises you are doing if the pain and swelling post surgery refuses to dissipate. The movements might be compromising the healing process or widening the scars from the procedure. If you proceed you may be in danger of rupturing the implants or make them move out of position.
