What is an arm lift?

An arm lift is a strategic procedure to help tone, slim and sculpt the upper arms, reducing sagging skin while boosting your satisfaction with your image.

Patients who have experienced massive weight loss, such as from a gastric bypass, may benefit from this procedure, as will those whose skin has lost its elasticity as they’ve aged. Many of our patients describe their pre-surgery arms as looking and feeling like “bat wings.”

While not a replacement for brachioplasty, liposuction of the arms is a cosmetic procedure that consistently yields the highest level of patient satisfaction.

A slim, elegant arm lends the appearance of a slimmer torso and allows you to wear sleeveless clothing with confidence. Brachioplasty must be performed in a hospital setting; however liposuction of the arms may be performed in our in-office surgical suite.

What are the benefits of an arm lift?

  • A more youthful aesthetic
  • Slimmer, tighter upper arms
  • Increased wardrobe choices
  • Greater satisfaction with one’s image
  • Results where dieting and exercise have failed

I began my journey with Dr. Poulos with a Brachioplasty bilat (arms) and that was followed by an Abdominoplasty. I followed Dr. Poulos' recommendation for the method she wanted to use, and I'm so happy I did. With Dr. Poulos, the wise thing to do is to "just do as she recommends. Dr. Poulos is a well-versed, well skilled surgeon who pays attention to detail. She gives you "the bottom line" of what you need done; how she wants to do it; and what you need to do as a patient to complete the successful cycle. I'd expect and want nothing less! This is my health and my body that I've now devoted over two years to re-sculpt and re-vitalize to a state of superb health. I would want ONLY "the best" cosmetic surgeon to participate in that journey with me, and that's exactly who I had. Dr. Cynthia Poulos IS the best, and I will be forever grateful for everything she's assisted me in accomplishing. You're the best, Dr. Poulos!
